The College of science in Geology Department discussed a master's thesis titled Urban Environmental Geochemistry of Basrah city, Southern Iraq for postgraduate student Ghadeer Khaled Jalal the thesis aims to determine heavy metals concentrations and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon compounds (PAHs) in urban soil, road dust, household dust and leaves of C.lancifolius plant in order to detect the levels and sources of pollution in urban, industrial, residential and agricultural areas inside Basrah
