A seminar in Basrah University on Tectonic development of Nahar Umr oil field 

  A seminar in Basrah University  on (Tectonic development of Nahr Umar oil field south-eastern Iraq, inferences from seismic reflection and borehole data )  held in the College of Science in Geology Department,  The researcher, Zainab Abbas Ajil ,  demonstrated the most important objectives of the study: Specifying the tectonic development of the Nahar Umar field as a result of the collision movement between the Iranian and Turkish plate with the Arab plate. The researcher concluded that the study area was affected by two stages of tectonic stresses.
